QL Tightness
Anyone deal with QL tightness. Am seeing a physio and alot of my symptoms are gone, but the QL tightness keeps being an issue. Have not asked physio yet, but I am thinking there might be a muscle imbalance somewhere. Any ideas

Is it something that you notice while biking or running?? One way to cook it is if you're hiking your hip at the top of your pedal stroke or during your run- both of which are pretty common if trying to really push the watts/pace and other muscles are tight/tired.
No kind of strain. Do feel most after hard running and riding, so I think you nailed it Leigh. Just viewed your video on your website re: strectching and think I am going to implement those. Would of loved for you to show the stuff with the tennis ball. Think I know what you mean, but if I have questions, I will post I guess. Your videos are excellent. You are super informative and have a great way of showing how to do things.
Also- would be worthwhile to also work starting from the ground up as well. Something down the chain is keeping you from pulling that leg straight forward (hence the hip hike). think calves right up into the hip and low back. another link on there that could help you narrow it down a bit is the five running stretches. from those you'll be able to tell which part of the leg is the tightest or what's different between the right and left legs.
