Kurt Kinetic power computer & trainer
I have been using a Kurt Kinetic trainer for some time now & recently added their computer that has power and cadence. I have retested with power and things seem to work Ok. Does anyone have any input on this computer or trainer that may be helpful. This is my way of testing power on the cheap before making the move to a power tap.
Thanks, Kirk

KK Road Machine is the trainer to have for sure. KK PM, as long as it gives consistent readings day to day, you are golden. You test with it, than train with it, than retest with it and measure against it all the time. No need to go too crazy indoors. Now, for outdoors, you will have to have a real thing. When you get your PT, test on trainer first measuring with both PMs, compare KK with previous test, than compare KK to PT, establish "delta" and you are perfect to go outside and transition to PT entirely.
Hope it helps.
