  •  Pure awesomeness! I'm going to print and tape this where I can see it on the trainer here in PA in the dead, cold winter:

    So, our guidance:

    • Believe in the power and knowledge of the EN "N"
    • Ignore the n of your training partners and local coaches.
    • Do the workworks. Put weight on the bar, lift it, recover, repeat. Your ONLY JOB between now and the end of the OS is to think like and become a little friggin' monster. A mad, pissed off, crank ripping and asphalt shredding little monster that's locked in a cage and scratching hashmarks on the bars with a rusty nail counting the days until...
    • We let you out of the cage and you rip everyone's legs off, including Old You, in about April.

    Here endeth the lesson.

Makes me want to skip Pocono 70.3 next weekend and jump right into OS!

well almost... sorta... just sayin' ;-)

  • BRING IT ON! (in January lol)
  • Thanks for sharing the koolaid!
  • Please also see the "Volume Elephant in the Room" thread in this forum as well.

Every year, typically October-November, then again in Jan-Feb we bring in a new "class" of members. Inevitably there is a bit of disconnect between how EN trains and how you have been training. Whenever possible we try to have our athletes share their experiences with you as they are your peers and our best representatives for how we do bidness around here.
