Merry Christmas Al and et al! In laws got me a TRX Suspension trainer which I'm going to need to get rid of my holiday love handles. After opening presents, I ran 10 miles with 2 of my sons and the Kenyan teammate of one of them. I threw in 3 x 1 mile in 6:43, 6:54 and 6:54 and the kids were just chatting away while I was wheezing. At least they didn't ask me if I had started my pick-up yet. One week to go until the real pain begins.
Merry Christmas to the JOS crew! So nice to be prepping for OS#4
@Al, fantastic to see you back training again. As an older physician athlete myself I'm amazed at your ability to build back up. Looking forward to sharing pain caves with you another year.
Just a little update. I haven't run or biked a single minute since the ankle turn/calf pull last week. My calf feels pretty good now and I am hopeful that I've managed to rehab this thing before it got too bad. I plan to ride the bike a few times this week, but won't likely run until the weekend. If it all works out, I'll still be ready to start JOS with you all next week.

Merry Christmas, I will be sending out my left over holiday goodies to the other Out Season Groups to slow them down!
WOOHOO! Good news! But easy does it my friend!
Nemo, we're all rooting for you!
Make that three. I got my TRX today.
