Harpoon Brewery to Brewery ride
I was wondering if any of the EN peeps who did the Harpoon Brewery to Brewery ride are doing it again this year? If you did it and don't plan on doing it again this year please contact me . Looking to have you sign up and transfer your entry to a friend of mine.

I'll be doing it again
Hopefully its a tad cooler this year
Keith,
I did it two years ago and started with one group of guys, met a friend halfway thru that started earlier, then we hooked up with a couple of other guys and worked really well together toward the end.
The only year I did it, it was just about riding and having fun. I think the key is either getting with people you know and will work well with, or picking your speed group and try and find some folks to work with.
Dave
Thanks---Keith
Keith, my FTP was about 225 when I did this both years and it took me about 9 hours both time. I rode with the 16mph group. I would say you could easily be in the next higher group.
@Keith, 143 miles is legit, and the B2B ride is EPIC. I wouldn't do FTP at all…unless of course you try to hang with your group. So the options are either, try to hang with big boys and do some work with them (pace picks up right outside city limits!!!) until they settle down. OR you can do your own thing from the outset…dial in .68-.7 (your call) and ride IM watts all day and see how much TSS you can earn!
So now the question is which one to choose. It seems to me that if I hang with a group that I should switch over to the road bike (which I haven't ridden since last October), where if I do the IM watts all day, then I can stay on the tri bike. What would you do road or tri??? and Why?
Thanks-Keith
Have fun! I'd probably be there this year but it would really screw up my CdA taper week!
FYI, tri bike isn't a disqualifier for a group ride. If you're not at the front, well off to the side, or off the back, then just ride in the hoods. For me, the fun in rides like this is to get together my own small group, or form one on the road, and just do a massive amount of work shared among 4-6 guys that work well together.
