BTW, for those of you in Time Warner cable territory...Universal Sports has been "dropped" as of this year. I'm pissed about it, too!!

Further development...not only was the Universal Sports channel dropped by cable providers, it's no longer broadcast over-the-air either. So unless I want to pay for online access, I'm hosed!

very lame in my opinion. I have Cox communications in VA and universal sports was dropped january 1st. There is now a new NBC outdoor sport channel which doesn't seem to be as interesting to me. And no Triathlon at all from what I can tell.
Makes me wonder if Ironman will try and find another way to get their sport out to the masses. I would think a channel like Versus might be interested but not sure how it works.

I'm in the same boat as you Nate (on Verizon FIOS). The FIOS answer... NBC "all fishing all the time" channel. Great. There must be a sizable demographic that views this, however, it ain't me! I've got a few IM's on the DVR (last 2 konas and the last IMCDA), however, the kids are getting tired of watching those.
