Garmin 405CX, WKO and TP device agent

 I need help. I am running Windows 7. I have successfully paired my 405CX with the ANT agent - it wasn't easy. And it claims that it's paired, and it appears that the data was transferred, but when I go to the TP device agent to get the workout, bupkiss. nothing. and then I go back to the ANT, which is still running, and it reads that it's active but waiting for new data. 

Can someone more technically with it walk me through this? Skype chat about be appreciated if someone's got the time.

    I have an older model Garmin 405. My ANT Agent downloads my data automatically to the Garmin Training Center (which can be downloaded free via garmin.com). From there I export the file to my desktop and then drag and drop into WKO+ rather than using the TP Device Agent.

    While I can download my PowerTap data directly to the TP Device Agent, I have been unable to master that process with my Garmin 405.

    thanks al - my husband was able to do it directly to TP on his system, but he's off officiating a swim meet so I am flopping around on my own. I will try your fix!

    I do what Al does...at least the first bit.

    I upload to Garmin Connect then export the TCX file.

    Then I drag the TCX file to the TP Device Agent and have Device Agent upload both to TP and to WKO.

    Personally I like having folders with the TCX files, in case I ever need to re-upload historical files.

    okay I have downloaded the garmin training centre, and teh ant agent says my data transfer was successful - but there is nothing there. I am stumped.

    Argh.

    Jane, my next step at this point would be to make a call to Garmin on Monday. They provide good customer service and have resolved several issues for me.

    Al, thanks I am taking one more kick at the can. have just uninstalled, reinstalled and looked at all basic settings. About to amble upstairs and get the garmin and see what happens...

    it works - Thanks everyone! resolved!!

     

    Now if I could only get my kids to replace the milk bag when it was empty my life would be perfect!
