iPad apps?

Anyone know of a killer iPad app to use as a bike computer/virtual trainer while I am confined in the mancave (paincave) for the next couple of months?

If not an iPad-specific one, what about an awesome iPhone one?

  • What exactly do you want to do? I have DigiFit for iPad and iPhone, which has a little plug-in ANT+ receiver module. It's SUPPOSED to be capable of reading power, HR, GPS and cadence and speed. I've never been able to get it to work with my Quarq, even though the website says Quarq is supported. I've used it on several runs with my Garmin strap. It seems to work pretty well.

I think the Digifit app is free, but adding the sensor capability is $15. I bought the iPower app that goes with the Digifit app. They also have iCardio, iRunner, iBiker and iSpinner. Not sure of the difference between all of them, but I THINK if you buy one, you have access to all of them, and they used to send the receiver for free if you bought a paid app. For $15 it may be worth it to try it out.
  • I saw that one...that is what i was looking for...that, and it would be cool if there were some way to use ANT+ to feed info into the system and then have a Computrainer-like video aspect to the trainer ride. That would be really awesome!
