Upper leg/groin pain during bike test
Hi all,
This started in the Power and Pace forum as a question on FTP when I had some problems with pain during the test. The FTP issue was addressed, but the pain discussion kept going so we moved it here. See original thread here: //http://endurancenation.us.dnnmax.com/Community/Forums/tabid/101/aft/4902/Default.aspx#68159".
The most recent question from Bob M. asked where exactly it hurt from the diagram here: http://www.lift-fitness.com/images/male_muscle_anatomy_upper_leg.gif
From this view, it would probably be the m. gracilis, or the group sits directly posterior to it. With a rear view I could be more certain.
Pain is gone for now. I'm planning to tweak the seat setup before the next workout, though I don't have a good idea what's wrong so will like just make small adjustments at random and see what happens. Any other ideas would be welcome.
Thanks all!

Have you had a proper bike fit? I still think the problem was that you went too hard but a bad bike fit could also cause issues.

No proper bike fit on this road bike. I had one for a tri bike I want to buy (so I get the right size) and I hope to get it this summer. I've used up all my money on PT and EN membership, so I'll have to do this one on my own.
