new guy

So just looking at some of the daily posts, I see  listings of IF. Without knowing alot of PT info, I read Hunters book, what are you folks doing to be so accurate ?

What do I need to be looking into to get up to speed/educated the EN way so the apples don't start talking to the oranges, so to speak ?

I'm using Power Agent now.

I have PT PRO Wired to custom built 404"

  • If you've read Hunter's book - you're ahead of the curve. THe best way to get up-to-speed is to buy the EN power webinar. It's one of the few resources that's not included with the monthly subscription.

In addition WKO+ is the power application de rigueur for EN, and while not explicitly required, the power language and terms of WKO+ are what everyone in-haus speaks.

Check the Wiki TOC under cycling/bike - there's a bunch of stuff there as well.
  • @Cary - keep reading posts, ask lots of questions, join an OS group to really connect, learn, achieve.
  • And visit the power and pace forum often. There are some wickedly smart members in there who can educate you on what we are all talking about. I have only been working with power since nov and already feel like an oldy from reading the forums and asking question. We have a great group of athletes, expertise etc..
  • What them said.
Also, I would say gather a couple of months of data in wko+ before trying to mine the data and draw conclusions from it. Learn the lingo, but don't get too wrapped up in the numbers yet.
  • All, Great Replys !

    Thx, D
  • Welcome aboard.  In PowerAgent, you can see IF when you click on the "work" tab in workout summary.
