Weigh in 02/09

Back on the scale after my week of skiing and up 1 to 235.  If that's not bad enough I am not feeling well.

Post you numbers here:

Here's the usual link to the spreadsheet.

  • I wish I were only up 1lb!  I was afraid what might happen post-cleanse and it's even worse than I'd expected.  Up 2.6.  I suspect 2 birthday dinners and a superbowl party didn't help much... not to mention it's my heaviest week of the month... So, now I'm resolved to getting back to following the "elimination diet" protocols with a few tweaks (i.e., including bananas are back pre/post workout).  I'm definitely going to limit the alcohol.  Still off caffeine!   I will say though, that since the cleanse ended my rides have been better - instead of hitting the lower range of my Z4 range I'm surpassing my FTP for my intervals... so there's more strength there bc I'm actually eating more solid food!

  • Becky- you might also have put your body into a "starvation" mode during the cleanse and now it's running on a slower burn rate. Whatever you do, make it a gradual transition and help your body get back to "normal"-

Holding steady at 109. That's OK all things considered. Better steady than up at this point.
  • Back to where I was 2 weeks ago at 120.4. Happy with that given I went off the wagon bad this past weekend again to another ski weekend. Really need to stop doing that! I'm poised and motivated to push this puppy down below 120 which will make me VERY happy.
  • I was bad last week and knew it. Up a pound.
  • Good week diet wise but up 1 pound on one scale but that scale keeps giving me an error readings. Switched scles and that one says up 3 pounds. Hard to figure the gain but might be the long run over the week end. Anything over 2 hours and I hold on to 3-4 pounds for 5-10 days. BTW the new scale weighs me 3-4 pound heaver, which is why I like the other one.
  • Up a pound as well. . .
