Mates Helping Mates - A Virtual 5k for Aussie Flood Relief

As some of you might know, I moonlight as a triathlete in another life! 
Well, one of my fellow triathletes, Kate Major () is looking to raise money for the Flood Relief efforts in Australia. She has an event scheduled in CA, and I am wondering if any of you would be willing to participate virtually with me?

* Donating $25 as the "entry" fee.
* Telling your friends and family to participate with you (give them the link).
* Post on Facebook / elsewhere to promote the cause.
* Run on 2/27 in your own neighboorhood, post your time and a picture.
I have run events like this in the past and have been able to raise some decent money, and I think it's the least we can do. Who is in with me?
Once you say you are in, I'll get to work on the logistics!
