Nutrition during workouts

 Good article from Matt Fitzgerald about intentionally "under-fueling" for some workouts...

I do this (under-fuleing on purpose) about twice monthly on a long run and it works well for me for ultramarathon training...

  • I do this most mornings, though I started eating a fig newton or two before a workout recently. Always seemed like the right thing to do, figured that if I wasn't hitting a wall, I probably didn't need calories.
