Swimming - starting back
I've swam a total of 5 times since september, so I'm a little rusty
Whats a good plan to get be back in the groove. I'm going to do Kansas in June, so I need a couple weeks to transition back I'm assuming.

I'm with Carl and started the hack at the beginning of the OS. And I as well wanted to cry last week when I saw we were doing the 40x50's again. So glad they're over!
I've been swimming a large majority of my life and thought I had a decent enough stroke, but the technique stuff in the first few weeks really improved my times which I didn't think was possible. Last year I saw with the local master's team 3 x week, but saw greater improvements swimming less days and less distance per day by doing the EN plan. I would highly recommend doing the first few weeks of the plan.
I got in the pool and did some drills for a couple of weeks, trying to just get my swimming arms back under me. Then i went out and forced myself to do 500 easy as a warm up (drills), 10 x 100 and 10 x 50 negative splits and then cooled down (it was really hard since i hadnt done any kind of volume since Austin in October). Now I am back in the swing of things i think...and I will start prepping for CdA in the pool on Monday. I had a hard time whe I tried to just jump back into a regular workout without this transition...took 2 weeks.
Just my 2 cents
