The "Glendora Mtn Road Time Trial Thread," or "What's the Line on Ambrose v Strauss v Hernandez?"
So...
This Saturday, Saturday, Saturday is the "GMR TT, presented by Endurance Nation," a non-event event not organized by yours truly. The word has been put out to 3-4 tri clubs and I've been hounding my local training homies and EN peeps to come out on the hill. We've even gots a tracking spreadsheet and I'm betting we have 50+ cyclists join us. Should be fun!
Anyway, Dave and Gilberto are coming out and were there for our last TT in January, so we have known gaps between each of us for a staggered start. I'm gonna rip myself inside out trying to catch 'em! I just had a rip-the-cranks-off-the-bike kinda workout so feel pretty froggy!
What's the bet?!!

Rich has just under a 5% FTP advantage, a 9 year age advantage, and an intangible advantage (being knows course blindfolded). I'd say spot me about 30sec per mile = approx 4.5min staggered start lead.
Hate the game, not the playa'
my ftp is 223 as of this week and the last gmrtt was 219 and i am broke, so i cannot contribute as rabbit for Rich nor in any bets
i am just happy it will be warmer than past weeks

You know, this all makes me think of the Biggest Loser. Once a season the contestants get to put the trainers through a workout day. Now Patrick follows the plans so it wouldn't work on him. But Rich, well he follows his own plan, not what he writes for us. That's horseshit. I day if you Lise to Sawiris you let the Haus dictate your workouts for a few days. You beat him, you get a nice stipend in your Starbucks account. I'm sure we could get that number up pretty large.
How big are your boys Richard?
