WKO and Garmin speed
I have always noticed that when I upload my Garmin workouts into WKO, I invariably always have to go into the raw data and edit the speed numbers manually. When looking at the graphs, after importing the data, I always notice the pace line is right along the bottom of the graph, and that always means there are a few rogue points in there that need corrected.
I end up going down the raw data and usually find some points that are 50-100 mph for just a single reading. I just adjust these down to a reasonable number and then the graphs look correct. It's not a difficult task, but it just frustrates me that I need to do that step. These odd, fast points, are almost always after I stopped the watch and/or took a break for some reason.
When the Garmin loads the data into it's own program, this doesn't happen, so it is somehow filtering out those odd points..
I guess I have one option - don't ever stop the watch and don't take breaks.......... but that's not going to happen. Nature calls out there.
Anybody have a method they use to either filter out the points originally or is there another faster method to find and correct these points ?
Thanks for the help.
Mike

Haven't used the auto pause feature. Maybe I'll see what that does. I usually just hit stop, when I stop.
