Weigh in 03/09

I thought that this week was going pretty good on the nutrition front but I have seen no results on the scale.  I remained at 233 so I need to continue and even step up my efforts.

Here's the usual link to the spreadsheet.

  • Down 1lb, which proves the point yet again- if I'm good about tracking what I eat, the weight will manage itself. Big thanks to Penny who invited me to be her "Friend" on myfitnesspal.com last week. Just knowing she was seeing updates of "complete" or "hasn't logged since X" helped to keep me on my toes.
  • I'll be honest...I forgot to weigh this morning. :-(
  • 166lb and coming down steadily! At 3.90w/kg for my climbing TT this past weekend.

  • 145ish seems to be my new set point - haven't been able to get much below it since I reached it back in August. But I seem to be seeing more ribs now, so there may be some body comp shift going on.  Frankly, I'm not sure I can safely take off another 5 pounds from this point, but we'll see what happens when the race prep volume ramps up.

  • Well the large weight shifts continue. Down 3.3 lbs since last week.
  • I was doing well, then I went to a Mardi Gras party Tuesday night! I'll stick with my Tuesday number for this week. 120.6. Getting tantalizingly close to sub-120. February was a bust, but I'm doing well so far in March and seeing steady progress. It helps that my volume is going up a bit to get ready for St. Croix.

  • I guess I didn't weigh in last week.. or forget to fill in the chart. I'm up from 2 weeks ago,but honestly think I'm down from last week... as I went a little bit off my clean eating routine (not to mention got sick). Still in an acceptable off season range, but need it to come down sooner rather than later!
