My sister and her husband are real estate people. I think they still own some property (condos) in the greater Boston area. I will check. I know they've been selling them off slowly as tenants have moved out (they relocated to New Jersey a couple of years ago so they have been selling their properties in Boston and buying in Jersey).

A number of people I know have rented at Bishiop's Forest in Waltham while redoing kitchens, renovating, new to the area. I know NOTHING more about it than that, but it is the name that kept cropping up a few years ago.

Today I asked a realtor buddy who I swim with and she mentioned Legacy Condos at Arlington Center as another place with short term rentals.

I'm digging this thread back up. Looking for 1-month rental in Boston area. Well, actually Marlborough. Sept. 19 - Oct. 19. Any good leads appreciated, otherwise we'll be hitting up an Extended Stay.

@Bo: not leaving Denmark. Just spending an extended period in the US while my wife is on maternity leave.

I don't know about Marlborough... we are in Waltham, about a 30' drive...but it would be a reverse commute. PM me if you want more info...
