Weigh in 03/23

I'm running a little late with this thread today.  Thanks for adding to the spreadsheet Nemo.  I did not even get on the scale this morning as I rushed out the door so I can't say where i am at.

  • My pleasure! I was down a pound and happy to report it :-) I realized last week that I had MyFitnessPal set to "maintain weight" which is why I wasn't seeing much progress (or that's my theory anyway). I changed the settings to "loose 1/2 lb per week" and the daily calorie allocation when down. If I can get to 105 that will be where I stop. I've learned that anything lower than that and I start to have problems keeping up the workouts and/or just being kinda tired and cranky. There's a limit to how lean I want to be from a quality of life point of view.
  • Is it cheating if I did the VO2 run before stepping on the scale? I say no.

  • @Michael, if you do your VO2 run before weiging EVERY week, then I think it is perfectly fine.

    As for me, I gained 0.4 this week, but I'm ok with that as I'm still only about 3.4 lbs from race weight and the A-race is in Sept. Plently of time left and I may even try to race at my strech goal and a little lighter this year.
  • I was too scared to get on the scale this morning. I've not worked out in a couple of days. I'm starting up with counting calories again today though. Only 5 to go!
