HIM Race Rehearsal Indoors???

Weather forecast is crap, with high probability of more crap. I am contemplating doing my HIM RR #1 inside, at least the bike portion. Does this sound like pure hell? Is it even worthwhile or will it tell me nothing about my race fitness? Thanks.

Sounds like not very much fun to me. Also won't tell you nearly as much as riding outside would. Its just too easy to ride steady inside. Certainly can be good training.

What is crap weather in VA? FWIW it's 17 degrees here with a high in the mid 20s...

 Thanks Chris. THat was my thought- not much feedback when riding on the trainer with no wind or any variability. 

BTW, crap in VA = 40 and raining. We have thin blood...

Is this the first RR? If so, move it back a week...no big deal. The second one really HAS to stay in place, but, the first one can be moved a little, especially if it means making it a REAL RR versus a halfway done RR.
