New tri mag - 3/go is looking for your stories

While I have not been active on the forums in quite some time - big life events, new baby - I do still however follow EN on twitter and checkin often to get motivated, help find my mojo on those tough weeks, and just take in the positive vibe.  My fiance, Paige Dunn, is the executive editor for a new tri mag that's formally being launched the first week in April - www.3gomagazine.com.  She is working on the second issue and doing a story on Mike Reily, the voice behind "you are an ironman" and is looking for inspirational stories from people when they've crossed the finishline and heard these words. It does not matter if you have only done one ironman or 10, your stories and comments are welcome.  Here's an opportunity to get your story published in a nationally.

Below is an e-mail from Paige with details and her contact information so you can directly reach out to her.  In your e-mail just reference me and Endurance Nation.

Do you remember crossing the finish line at your first Ironman?  If you were fortunate enough to race a race where the legendary announcer Mike Reilly was announcing, then hopefully you had the opportunity to hear him say "You are an Ironman". Even though my first Ironman was ten years ago I can still clearly recall what those words sounded like as I finally crossed the finish line.  In some respects, Mike Reilly changed my life. He was the first to confirm that I had done it....I really was an Ironman.  3/GO magazine is doing a feature story on Mike and we want to include stories of those of you have been changed because of him.  If you have a distinct memory of that moment when he congratulated you at the finish line and you want to share your story, we want to hear from you.  Simply send an email to paige@movepress and share your story.  You just might find your own story about Mike in the pages of the next issue of 3/GO magazine.

Sincerely,

Paige Dunn
