Joule display for Time in Interval?
Got my "new to me" Joule and have been playing around with it. So far I likey. But despite checking the manual and searching through the forums, there's one thing I haven't been able to figure out. How do you get it to display the time within an interval in real time? Or for that matter, can I look at any particular data within an interval in real time?
For example, I do a 10 min interval and want to hit 95% FTP on that interval. I hit the "Interval" button and everything records of course, but the display still shows me NP, IF, Ride Time, etc for the whole ride and not just the interval. The LYC gave you an option to switch the display so you saw data for just that interval (which by the way is really helpful for the time piece 'cause I can never remember if I started the interval on 5 or 10)
Thanks!

Nemo,
You have to put the joule into interval mode by depressing the interval button until it displays Int 0, or the current interval that you are on, then all the display info is for the current interval.
To return to overall, or elasped info press and hold the interval button until int doesn't show up anymore.
Hope this helps, and enjoy your new piece of tech
When I'm in "overall mode," or whatever you want to call it when it's displaying info for the whole ride and I want to record an interval and see the interval data, I:
Similar question: Now that I'm starting to go outside, is there any way for the Joule to display the Temperature in real time, not just after the fact when I upload the finished ride data to my computer?
And, how do I change the altitude reading? I was biking below sea level today.
From the Training Peaks Forum: "No, the Joule currently does not have a way to set the Altitude. ... The response from CycleOps is that they are considering this for a future firmware release."
Grrr... I'll have to check the altitude when I start out, and make mental adjustments as I ride. And WKO ignores below sea level data? This was one of the good features of the iBike - I could easily make a ride profile from its data. Now, if I want that, I'll have to wear my Garmin 305 as well.
AGREED!!! Kitboo pointed me to this earlier today and the online manual is WAAAAY better than the one in the box. You get it here:http://www.saris.com/pdfManuals/393.pdf
Al, I agree no temp reading realtime. Page 21 of the manual lists the 12 catagories of data that can be displayed real time. No temp. I see tempshows up in the report mode. I wonder if you do an interal say 1 min. If the report for the interval will show temp. Not real time but close.
