Power agent/file loss tech computer question

 So, I am only using Power Agent on my mac to look at my power right now, and am trying to recover some files from last year. I updated the software in December and then noticed that I no longer had any of the data from prior. I just found a bunch of zipped files (.gz) that when opened are just .doc files with all the data points i.e. torque, speed, watts but I have absolutely no idea how to convert those back to a format that any program (power agent, WKO, golden cheetah, etc) would be able to analyze. 

 

Help?
