Coach P Update & Apology

 Folks -

Just a quick note to let you know where we stand with the house, etc,. and to apologize for being kinda AWOL for the last few days (weeks, even!). We have pretty much sold our place, my days are filled chasing contractors and permits to get the work done before we close on 4/30. Then it's off to temporary housing for a while as we wait for our place in RI to open up (that's another story).

Things are moving, but the stuff we want to move fast, isn't, and the stuff we thought would move fast, isn't. Guess that's just how these things go!

I had a blast in TX at the inaugural tri-rally down there, and am just now recovering. Will be "on it" very shortly, just wanted to let you know why things have been so crazy (for me).

Thanks for your understanding!

  • Gotta take care of your family and your life! Exciting news about the move.

  • So now we know why Rich was bitching about having to pay for coffee! Needs it for having to cover for your slack ass!

Dude don't worry about it. Take care of your personal business, we'll be here when you get back.
  • As long as you & family are still in New England, you're ok in my book

  • Congrats on the move! Always a stressful time, but you guys will make it work.
  • Closing is a huge pain in the butt, I've got spreadsheets of to-do items and I'm only moving 2 miles and not selling a place, just buying...there is light at the end of the tunnel I hope!
  • Coach P, where in RI? Did you buy Nicolas Cage's old house in Middletown? He paid $15.7 million for it four years ago and sold it this week for $6.2. Yikes!
  • When it comes to paperwork, Coach P is no slacker. At the IM Texas Rally he was giving a talk in the restaurant. He asked the waitress for the fax number, had closing docs faxed to him, and then he took a short break, signed them himself and asked the waitress to fax them back, all the while chatting it up. I was very impressed!

  • As a fellow Contractor I must stand and defend our great names. We are easy to get ahold of as long as we don't have a higher paying job somewhere else; a family event is not occurring, our employees show up, our license didn't get revoked, our insurance bill got paid, The sun didn't just come out of hiding and we're on the lake or mountain, or we aren't out training .
Nevermind. Contractors are a bunch of slouches! (except the ones that are out training! that's an ok excuse)
