How do I reconstruct my FT history in WKO+?

When I transferred wko files from one computer to another, it appears that the history of the various FTP numbers I have entered over the years had been lost, and I have only 1 power number from the beginning of time.  Obviously not the case, and my historical TSS , charts, etc etc are all out of whack.

I tried to retospectively enter every FTP score I noted or achieved, but only some would 'take' when i would input them to the Power Training Zones.

Help?

  • Did you copy the entire data directory or just your workouts? There are a bunch of other files in there and i would "guess" that one of them has to have some of the other data outside of the individual files in it. The data has to be somewhere so it's just a matter of finding it if you still have the old computer.

I copied the entire directory by deleting the entire data folder on the new PC, then copying the full folder from the old pc. I believe all of mine turned out ok, but I will check to make sure. I'm out of town for the week, but can check over the weekend.
  • Dave, there is definitely a settings file that should bring that over. If you don't have it, do you know when you did your FT tests? I usually make notes that I can search on when I test. If you know the dates, then you need to start with the earliest date and move forward. I know this process works for WKO 2.X because I've done it before. If you have the test dates and you can't get it to work, re-post and I'll figure out exactly how I did it.

  • I believe it is a .dat file either calender.dat or profile.dat it should be in your old data file
  • Also, did you use the migration tool or just do a cut and paste of the folders? You may want to try their tool which is here:

  • Thanks all. I think Dan's suggestion gets it done.

If there are any missing data, I'll look at the migration tool - I had cut and paste when I moved it all over in the first place, and I think this is where it all went bad.

    Appreciate the answers.
