New PT - No Display

New out of the box from Wheelbuilder yesterday and onto the bike today.  Went to play with it during a test ride today, and I've got nothing.  Hit the Mode and Display buttons to wake it up..nothing.  Occasionally, I'll get a quick flash of "Pro 7.60"  or a flash of "watts,  - - , 0.0".  Tried a new battery, nothing.  Firmware updater said everything was up to date.  When the display is lit, it has to be read at a strange angle, not head on.  Any ideas? Hints?  Solutions?

    Ugggh. My problem never stopped, despite the new battery(s). I I called Saris customer service, and they could not have been nicer. We tried to reinstall the firmware with no luck. They're swapping out my unit for a new computer. Cant wait to get it. I was teased by the "power goddess" for 4 sessions. Oh, how I love that mistress! I wish I had met her (and EN) much sooner
