Swim Training
Has anyone figured out the relationship between the T-time for the 1000m/yd TT and the swim workouts in this SC plan?
In the Swim Hack posted in wiki, there are references to T-time with respect to intervals after the TT. But on our SC plans, it just references goal time. Am I missing something?

Joe,
Please post a specific workout that you're confused about and I'll translate. Please also tell me what plan, week, and day you're looking at. Thanks.
@Joe, coach will explain in detail. RR pace is race rehearsal pace for the distance you are swimming.
RR-2-3 sec pace is 2-3 seconds per 100 faster than RR.
I am sure you will shortly get it fully explained.
I don't swim EN swims, so I am not that confident elaborating further.
So, I think I should be looking at 1:37 to 1:38/100m for this based on my T-time, right? I just started swimming last week and my goal is like 1:35/100m for my 1500 in 5 weeks.
Thanks, Joe
Had a swim clinic where they filmed me today. Very helpful! I think it really helped to see myself swim. I have a bit to work on now though.
Last TT was 1000y at 15:51, hope to improve that by the bay swim in June, and then FLY through my SC race.
BTW, good swim time. Since you obviously can swim very well, I'd like to hear how the clinic pays off, i.e., what techniques changes and what results.
MS: 3 x 300 (15'), 4 x 200 (10'), 5 x 100 (5')
I am still recovering from a half-marathon last Sunday. Swim was just blah. Not good, but not cover your eyes awful:
3:50 for the 300's, 2:35 for the 200's, 1:15 for the 100's.
There's a lot of work still to be done in the next 7 weeks to race an Olympic distance.
For me I am quite lucky and have a 50m pool literally 10ft from my balcony and is warm all year round here so getting in swims is very easy for me.
If you are swimming which plan are you using - the OS swim hack or have you loaded up the twenty week SC plan and extracted those swims?
