Question for those who swim in a 50m pool

 Ok - quick question, how do you adjust your 25m sprints when you swim? For example next week plan calls for 20 x 25m (30"), do you do 10 x 50m (30") or what?

It's kinda hard to stand up to take 30" halfway down the pool (while still being able to breathe air) so just wondering what everyone else does?

  • I would turn those into 1/2 sprint 1/2 easy...and just change half way down the lane. I don't swim in a 50 meter pool, but I bet that would be effective.

    The way you suggested would work too though.
  •  I would turn those in:

    20x50(10sec) as 25fast/25easy       swim fast half the length, swim easy/ active recovery the second half, 10sec at the wall, hit it again.
