Florida 70.3 May 15
As per the race guide (p 7) there is no swimming at the Florida 70.3 event venue, Bay Lake, except during the race. Fortunately, in Orlando there is a nearby swimming spot with similar water temperature and murkiness. It was a pretty popular place in 2010 in the days before the 70.3. It is a private residence whose owner opens it to the public M-F at 630 am (get there a little early) and at 745 am on Sat. It is called Lucky's Lake. For more information, see http://www.luckyslakeswim.com . I plan to be there Thursday am for a swim followed by a bike ride on part of the course.
