Zipp 808
I have a gear question, but I am not sure if this is the right place. If not please let me know where else to post.
I presently have Zipp 404 tubulars on my tri bike.
I have the opportunity to get a good deal on a Zipp 808 with Power.
My question is should I get a carbon clincher or stck with a tubular?
The new carbon clinchers have a new shape, and all I would have to carry in addition to my other gear is a patch kit and tube.
Thanks for your help.

my two cents is to transition over to clinchers.
i weighed my bike with zipp tubular 808 front and zipp tubular disk back vs. zipp 808 clincher front and hed clincher disk back. in each case, i loaded up the bike as if i was going to race, with spare tubulars, etc. and the clincher set up was lighter.
also, technology wise, the two are getting closer and closer.
i will eventually sell my tubulars, but for now i am just keeping them for 20-40km TTs where i don't care if my race is over if i flat.
you can always get a wheel cover from wheelbuilder and make the 808 a disk.

Thanks for the info on Wheelbuilders. The disk cover sounds like a good deal.
Anyway my good deal on the 808 just went up in smoke... oh well.
