Knee Pain - Caused by Zone 4 - WWYD Tomorrow?
WSMs and other gurus - I am trying to break the inflammation cycle on some patellar tendonitis and medial knee pain. Direct cause/effect is Zone 4 work on Bike and Run. It immediately gets mad when I do those things.
Adv IM Plan Week 14 calls for Bike with 30/30s and some Zone 3 Brick Run.
I'm inclined to modify this and do some steady Zone 3 ABP work on the bike for 90-ish mins and then do the Zone 3 work on the run (only if the knee isn't bugging me). Otherwise back off to Zone 2.
I'm assuming that 30/30s would be the kiss of death for this condition.

I might just take a couple days off. The main point of the OS is to get the FTP and vdot higher. If you can't do the z4 stuff then back off. The z3 stuff os good but your not working the top end like you should. Over the long term you want to get healed up so that you can hit the workouts when you move to the next plan.
