Tour de Suisse !!!! Yes, I must get a life. But not now.
Come one, come all. Watch Spartacus get sick fast in the tt. See if Gilbert is still on the crazy hot sauce. Let's see if the emaciated Shleck bras are rounding into shape. And the well rested GOD OF THUNDER will be there too. Along with Tom "I gotta dance" Boonen, who has never been busted for performance enhancing drugs. Just the fun ones.

I'm in. Still paying with my selections, but I've got an initial draft. The link you posted went to the Dolphine (or another race that's already in progress or done). So try this one folks:

Thanks, guys. My boys from Robabank will be out seeking revenge on the Roads of Romandie.
This one on tv?
Yes- on Versus
@ Nemo - I dunno; you've got my gang covered pretty well with Fabioso, FSchleck and my new favoriate rider since last year's TOC, Peter Sagan. He reminds me of Lance at the same age. He's just gotta decide what he wants to be, and build his body apropriately. I don't know if S. KRUIJSWIJK (HOW DID HE EVER LEARN TO SPELL HIS NAME AS A KID???) and Sylvain Chanvel can pull it off for me.
And how do you use these last two races to prediict TDF performance??? Will Andy Schleck ever wake up?
And yes, it does feel good to see Fred get his commuppance.
See you in July. Bonsoir, mon ami.
I told the French press today that Fred Velo is withdrawing from the Tour de Suisse. When asked why I said shame and humiliation. Robabank and Say Cheese destroyed our will to compete.
Say Cheese is doing surprisingly well. Currently ranked 27th out of 209 US Teams!! I'm pretty tickled with myself :-)
The next few weeks should be pretty fun watching the teams announce which riders are going to France.
I've been in an internet and cell=phone free zone for the past four days - the Lost Coast in Southern Mendocino County, Norther CA, which somehow got trapped in a time warp - they are stuck in the 70's.
@ Nemo - good on ya for picking Levi, who appears to be peaking at a good time - he seemed quite strong on the climbs, I guess Radio Shack as a little problem on its hands between him and Horner.
Sagan is only 21, and he's raced a lot this year, so he could blow himself up but good if he tried another Grand Tour now. Looking at his physique, I think he'll become either a sprinter or (more likely) a Classics specialist. His arms are kinda large, not pipe cleaners like the Schlecks. He looks like another Hushovd, or Armstrong before he got cancer.
Compared to, say, Ryder Hesjedal @ 12.
With no prologue and a 2nd day TTT, picking the early Maillot Jaune is a lot harder than just going with Cancellara this year!
I'll start a league and a new thread, considering I'm just siting here in CDA getting anxious.
Al- relax and enjoy the race. Let this be a great come-back!
All 9 riders start. A minimum of 5 must finish "together" (Wheel on wheel, side by side, whatever, no gaps). Those dropped must finish within a certain % of the winning team's time, or be out of the race (just like any stage). Those dropped are credited with their actual time, not the team's time. Since the TTT is the second, not the first stage, and there's no prologue, figuring a Maillot Jaune coming out of the TTT is tricky. In part because the first stage is like a classic, with an uphill sprint finish, and the winds and climbs along the way provide the possibility to get dropped, or get gapped at the end. This means not all team members may have the same time going into the TTT. If the winning team's members did all have the same time from the first stage, and their TTT time would qualify for MJ, then the first rider across the line would wear it. At least that's how I'm figuring it, which is not really any help.
I've got my roster and it's strong! Tho this is my first time doing a fantasy team for the Tour...
