Where are post race beers?

Ok and what is the deal for post race?  Are there showers there?  Do I need to go back to where I am staying?  Or do we all just pile into Dr Vans room at the resort and shower there?

I say jump into the lake, dry off and then hit Crickets, which seems to be the popular choice.

I'm game, If Crickets is the place to be, I'll be there-post lake bath! Hoping to be done in time to do the lake swim, crack a few with the feet up, then head back to cheer in the last hour. Hopefully nothing too catastrophic to screw up that plan. Besides gotta get the post race carbs for recovery right?

As much as I want to say I'll shower in the lake. My plan will be to get cleaned up, debrief with family and then get back to crickets for post race activities. You'll want to get cleaned up properly. You'll need to deal with your bike and other equipment as well.

Michael, how is Capones?

I've heard good things, but never been there. There are several good places right along the finish chute including Crickets, so I was trying to keep us near the finish to watch all our comrades finish. The Ironhorse is also really good and it's right across the street from Crickets.
