  • Jeremiah, I'll get on iAMTri and find out the answer to that for you. Will get back to you shortly.

  • Cut and paste from iamTri discussion of bike shops in Lousiville. You'll want to check on them to see who does shipping:

Here are two out on the IMKY bike course......see notation for location of each....

    Bluegrass Bicycle
    6015 West Highway 146
    Crestwood, KY 40014
    (502) 241-2440

    Bob Clifford is the owner
Proximal to (halfway between) the out & back turnaround and the Special needs drop point in Buckner.

    Goose Creek Cycle
    202 E Main St
    La Grange, KY 40031
    (502) 265-1808
    Jon@goosecreekcycles.com
(Main St. is the next street south of the IM route through La Grange)

    VO2 Multisport (Triathlon specific shop)
    131 St. Matthews Avenue
    Louisville, KY 40207
    502.290.7433
Jeff and Kelli Miller are the owners

Approximately 3 miles from the Yellow Lot and River Road area

If you have special needs or want to rent a bike for a training weekend Jeff can probably help you.

Across the Ohio River in Indiana

The Trail Store(Good for Hammer Nutrition products)

    1321 Herr Lane

The store is primarily hiking/camping/trail running but I go there for Hammer Nutrition products.

  • Wow!! I am so sorry I missed this post! I can't thank you enough. That is perfect! I will follow up on which way I go.
  • Thanks to Barbara for the info.

@Jeremiah  I don't know where you are staying, and I don't have any experience with any of the shops, but I can tell you that Crestwood and La Grange are not convenient to downtown where most people stay. The one in Indiana is probably the closest to the Galt House with VO2 Multisport the 2nd closest.  I have heard good things about VO2.
