Craig, your stats are the near-favorite part of my post-race ritual, second only to McFlurry & DQ Blizzard gluttony. Thanks for continuing to prepare them.
I might start another thread on this, but I'd be very interested to hear EN'ers thoughts about what the Optimum Blend of 'Swim / Bike / Run /Ts as % of Overall' should be, after looking at these numbers. For example, looking at our top ten OA M, we're at
S=9.5-12%, mean=10.7%
B=52.5%-56.4%, mean=54.1%
R=31.4%-37.2%, mean=34.2%
Ts=.7-1.3%, mean =.8%
-Do you think these numbers would track to WPRO, AG winners, and KQs?
-is this what "good execution" looks like when it gets cut into pieces of the pie? (post-race triathlon pie ... mmmmm ... )
-Should the ranges give clues about what one's personal limiters are?
I would love to see the stats, and maybe it is just me, but I copy and paste the link to my browser but it does not find the location. Help? Thanks, Dave
Craig - wow - great stats - thanks so much for putting this together - really makes me see how bad my transitions really were....at least the first one I know it was because my hands were freezing....
Dave - glad you enjoy them - and nice race! I have some random thoughts on the % subject but will try form them into something coherent before replying.

And so on.

David - let me know if you're still having problems with the link? Not sure why it's not a clickable URL...
