Garmin doesn't want to talk to WKO
I must admit I am new to Garmin watches. I have no trouble with the 705 because it downloads to a document. My watch, however, goes to Garmin Connect. I can upload from GC to Training Peaks but the data does not come thru. I do not know how to bulk upload, if even ossible, from basic TP to WKO, so do not know if that would work. I have not figured out how to go directly from GC to WKo so I can get the data, TSS, etc? What do others do? Thanks

With my old computer (just replaced last month), whenever I plugged my 305 into the cradle, Garmin training center (GTC) would start up and it would upload the latest workouts - automagically. I'd then open WKO2.2 and download the workouts to it, via the device agent.
With my new computer, I didn't even install GTC, and instead open WKO3.0 and use device agent to open/save the files directly from the 305.
My point is, is that WKO should recognize most, if not all, Garmin devices, on its own. That GTC auto-start thing bugged the heck outta me.
Device: Garmin Forerunner 3xx
Browse: TreeMapper (the name I gave the device)
Open Files | C:Documents and SettingsStevenApplication DataGARMINDevices3643100456History (it will remember this location)
Select you file | OK | Save
I created a shortcut on my desktop directly to the Garmin history folder (C:Documents and SettingsKevinApplication DataGARMINDevicesXXXXXXXXXHistory - where XXXXXXX is the device number). The ANT agent puts a copy of the file here when you transfer to GC or GTC. There is no need to export, just open the folder and select the files you want. Drag that file(s) onto WKO+ when it is open. When you release the mouse button the import pop-up comes up, Click OK and jobs done.
P.S. If you are using Windows 7 the path is different, something like: "C:UsersuserAppDataRoamingGARMINDevicesXXXXXXHistory"
Thanks Joel. That works perfectly with the FR60 as well.
