IMWI Rally - who's in for Friday Member Dinner?
Rich says we have 111 coming to the rally, but not sure how many of these are members that would be interested in getting together for dinner Friday night, starting somewhere around 7:00 to 7:30. I've got some ideas about restaurants, but really need some idea of numbers before making calls.
My preconceptions are: casual; within 15-20 min drive of hotel, hopefully downtown near campus and Monona Terrace; beer. 
Please correct me if I'm off base here.

IN! In the past I've done dinners at Tutto Pasta on State, back in the day when the EN dinners were about 20-25 people. I think they had a downstairs room? That, the Great Dane, and a couple joints on State are the extend of my experience...
I would be interested. I have a couple of non-team people coming that would probably like to tag along. You ok with that?

Sure, as long as they are accompanied by/with a member.
I guess what I'm saying is that while I'm not going to tell a member that their friends aren't invited (and, let's face it, it's a great marketing opportunity to have your friends exposed, through you, to as much of the team thing as possible), I think it's equally powerful to say at the end of the Friday talk "ok, team, let's go eat. Everyone else...you're on your own, see you tomorrow morning!"
No problem with what you are saying Rich, I'll take a pass then. I don't want to have someone drive up with me and have to ditch them for Friday's dinner.
I'm a maybe also. A maybe for the ride on Saturday too but am trying to make it!

OK. It's official. I'm in.
Ideas so far: Paisan's (but I don't think they can take 30); Essen Haus; that Irish pub on the Square (Claddaugh's?) they have an upstairs room, Brass Ring on East Wash, Nitty Gritty (if we can get the upstairs), Coliseum Bar, and of course Great Dane. Lot's of other places come to mind that won't likely work because they'll be packed for fish frys on a Friday.
If interested, would 4:00 or 5:00 work for you two? I can do a 3way call (I think)

Since we took the outside space I think they are going to waive the minimum bill, not that it was likely to be a problem anyway. Should be fun!
