Supine V-Up. What if I can't reach Leigh?
Leigh- I have a question about one of the Ab Routine Core exercises. Now you probably will scold me, but I can't touch my toes without bending my knees. So my question is this: Is there a modification I should be doing on the Supine V-Up? Do I reach for my shins instead or let my knees bend so I can reach my toes?
PS- This sort of applies to the Iron Cross Supine as well. Do I just get as close to my hands as I can without bending my knees?

Nah, no scolding.
The first goal for these is to keep your knees straight and to simply reach as far as you can. If that means your knee or your shin or your toes, it's all good. Over time, you'll be able to get further. Same goes with the iron cross. Get as close as you can without hurting yourself. The rest is just time and repetition.
I have to admit though, my first response was "oh c'mon. this is where you go all presidential fitness test! remember the sit and reach test where you have three friends sitting on your back so that you can reach 12 inches past your toes for the gold star??". ahhh. good times.
12 inches past my toes???? Are you kidding me!? Sorry- I don't have such glorious memories Even in my prepubescent ballet days the best I was ever able to do was grab the soles of my feet (and that was with the dance instructor stepping on my back)!

If I was meant touch my toes they would be up near mid thigh for me, I have the flexabilty of a piece of steel. Almost failed the academy for the sit and reach.
I'll get the specific names tonight, but can you check them to make sure they're formatted the same as the others?

These are the five that won't sync up to either my ipod classic or my iphone. All the other ones are just fine, no problem.

to be honest it was probably me when I was uploading/exporting/blah blah. I might have decreased the size for some but not all which is why some don't fit on portable devices?? good lesson for future updates.
