For sale: SRAM S80 wheelset
Hey team,
I bought a SRAM S80 wheelset for my first season doing triathlon last year. This spring I treated myself to a Zipp disc and matching front so I don't need the S80's anymore. I should have sold them a while back but never got around to it.
The wheels are in perfect shape, having been used in the Chicago tri last year and on one training ride before that. I also loaned out the front wheel to a buddy of mine who used it for Racine 70.3 this year.
The hub is Shimano/SRAM and the rims are clinchers.
The successful ebay sales for these seem to be in the $900-1000 range. I'll let them go for $800 plus the actual cost of shipping (btw, I have the original box they came in so can ship in that). I'll also throw in the tubes that have been on the wheels. They have 80mm valves which do not actually require a valve extender if you screw a schrader adapter onto them when you pump them up.
Let me know if interested. Btw if someone wants to buy these for IMOO I'm sure we could arrange for a Chicago EN-er heading up to Madison to take them.
