Training Plan Decision

Hi team, I am racing a sprint distance race on October  29 2011 - I've set my program as the '20 week short course' however, I feel I need more of a softer introduction into my training (I'm just coming off training for a marathon - which I had to pull out of 2 weeks prior due to injury). I was just looking for advice in order to determine what program I should myself into. Basically this Aussie season, I'm just looking to race sprint and maybe 1 Olympic and finish with a long course in Feb/March - just trying to keep it fun without too much pressure on myself. Any thoughts team??

  • I would stick with the Sprint plan and just allow yourself days off as needed. Following that, take a week or two off and fire up the next cycle. If you need downtime along the way...just take it! No worries!
