Coach P Looking for a Zipp 808 clincher with PT hub....

 Looks like all online rental places are sold out. Wheelbuilder has a tubular it can get me...but if any of you have one that you don't mind lending, I am happy to pay for it, etc.

ps - this is for Kona only...need it by 10/4, can return to you by 10/20 latest thanks!

    P, Have you checked racedaywheels, ironmanwheels, and racewheelrental.com? I see racewheelrental.com has hed 9 clincher with PT available. It's not an 808 firecrest but it is damn close and will do just fine.

    Sorry to pour salt on an open wound, but as a dude that goes to Kona more often than not, imo you are the prime person to use a quarq/srm/vector instead of PT. Then you could rent or buy one 808 rear and wheel cover that would work for you at ALL races period and never have this issue again.

    I know you already know this, but figured it would be worth it for others to see it and make their purchases accordingly if they thing they will do races that don't allow discs (i.e. Kona/Coz)

    Coach; I have an 808 PT hub (ANT+) and I will be in Kona (I am a volunteer). Sounds like a match made in heaven.

    I have the 808 firecrest carbon clincher with Vottoria and latex tubes. If I didn't get to Kona at least my wheel might. Let me know. Jeff
