New CoreDiet+EN Partnership is Now Live (Sept 2011)
Note: The Core Diet Add On is in the Wiki Here. The program was updated on 6/13/12, here's why.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Folks, after many months of planning, negotiating and coding, our partnership with the nutrition team over at The Core Diet is now 100% ready for you to use! Full details are in the wiki here, but basically you get access to their nutritionist and their proven approach to getting your body composition dialed in through your daily nutrition. The price is an additional $50/month on top of your current EN membership payment, making access to these folks really reasonable!
I personally have been following a "lite" version of the CoreDiet program since May, when I realized that my calorie-counting only approach wasn't working for me. Thanks to the program, I have learned some critical things about when to eat, what to eat, etc. It has totally changed how I fuel for my swim workouts, and even on the run. While I haven't lost a ton of weight (I am still 180, let's not talk about it), I am certainly way fitter than ever thanks to my consistent, solid workouts.
We wouldn't have chosen The Core Diet if they weren't the real deal...you will like what you see.
** The only caveats I have are:
#1 -- They want to work with EN folks as a group, so we'll need between 5-7 folks to sign up in order to actually kick things off.
#2 -- You are in for a minimum of 3 months when you sign up; after that point you can cancel when you want.
#3 -- All payments are deducted at the time of your next EN payment, IOW you won't be making two separate payments to EN.
Please check it out and let's get this party started!
Thanks for you input and support,
Coach P

Try again please.
Has anybody taken advantage of the Core Diet offer? If so, how do you like it?
So, overall, I was mixed. Nothing really bad to say about it, but nothing great either. In terms of results, I gained weight following their recommendations and not the good kind. After leaving Core and just going with basic principles of calorie counting on Lose It and following a simple guideline of maximizing nutrient dense foods, avoiding saturated fats and skipping all the complex stuff like nutrient timing, etc I have managed to lose 15-pounds of body fat in 3-months.
@ Bill which plan did you sign up for? I am planning on pulling the trigger with the beginning August group and am still debating how far to go ... ... ...
I just signed up for the mission plan yesterday. I''l likely do the race plan next year.
Do you just pay the $50/month or do you have to also pay the intial consultation fee they note on their site/services menu desscriptions?
Is is possible to have the initial consultation/dscussion and then determine wether to sign up or not?
You seemed to have a lot of success on Core diet, did this include race nutrion planning which you speak of taking in 700cal hour during Ironman or is that something different you worked out with Jesse? Can you give the details of how you came up with 700cal hour? Probably somewhere else on the site but thought I would ask because could find. Anyone else had success on this diet? What is the general jist?
Didn't hear anything too possitive regarding the program? Any feedback would be great. Thanks, Nigel
Apologies. I must have breezed right by it. Sorry for the post and email
