food, etc to bring.
Al and all, Jan and I are driving up friday eve. I'd like to talk about what to bring food and supply wise. We prefer chicken or fish for meat. We can bring that up, Jan was talking about making some chili and maybe cornbread or something like that. Let us know if we can bring other stuff up food or bike wise too. If anyone needs something, I could make a bike shop run over my lunch hour Friday. That is all i can think of...just thought I'd start the discussion.

Other than that, this weekend I'll pretty much be eating anything/everything I want - body comp goals be damned!
I've already bought: CO2 carts, sun screen, Ironman Perform powder, and some breakfast cookies with the $$ RnP gave us. Kurt, whatever you want to bring is great.
I'll also be stocking up with bread, pasta, cereals, etc. Let me know if you want eggs, cereal, etc for breakfast makings. If it were up to me, I'd just have oatmeal, raisins, and berries.
I'd like to know if people want milk, OJ, other drinks. I drink whole milk and OJ, so will have liberal quantities of that, But if you want 0,1,or 2% milk, let me know and I'll buy it.
And, I'm making a reservation for dinner in Aspen for Saturday night.
So far the weather is looking pretty good - clear, dry and in the 50s (high up) to 70s (down low) in the day, 30s at night which is normal for this time of year.
I am an oatmeal eater in the morning, and will eat literally anything through out the day. I don't care what kind of milk you have it's all moo to me. I would love peanut butter and jelly. As elementary as that sounds they sure hit the spot after a hard workout. Looks like Thursday is clear weather so far, so scott and I should be able to fly in.
@Al- Are you going to have enough Perform for all of us for all 5 days? Otherwise can we ship a box of gu's and drink powders to the house this week?
@all- I am doing the EN "30 Runs in 30 Days Challenge" so anyone that wants a running partner everyday for at least 30 minutes, I will be hittin' it.
I have 3 bottles of Perform Powder, which should provide 52 28 oz bottles @ full strength. If that runs out, I have 2 more in hiding there as well.
I live on PBJ sandwiches - one a day for me. And I will get you hooked on Papa Giki Cookies: flax, almonds, raisins, chocolate, etc @ 337 cals each they are a good recovery or in-ride replenishment.
I am sure that Al has a floor pump at the house, but just in case can one you Colorado folks driving in bring yours. I have OCD when it comes to pumping up my tires for every ride.
