Why not have a gear/gadget forum where all related questions and topics can be discussed? 

And what about a members only forum?

    I think this would be great. As a new member, I'm more seriously considering a bunch of gadgets (Garmin, upgraded powermeter, wheels, etc). It would be great to get feedback from other members.

    Power and pace gadget questions, comments, reviews should be posted in the Power and Pace forum. What other gear is remaining? Bottles, tubes, tires, shorts...not sure that stuff needs it's own dedicated forum?

    And, FYI, this entire site is a members-only site, with trial members driving by to peek in side during their 5-day trial before they join or decide to leave. What is/is not happening that you feel there's a need for a "members only" site...because all of EN is members only?

    Yes, please gear forum. If I can blog about gear, we have room for a forum about gear.

    Rich, I'm more interested in streamlining the information. Now as Patrick stated you can ask these questions in a number of forums. Why not house it all in one place. I think the power and pace forum should be just for the concepts and questions about the two. We can have reviews, comparisons of Garmin vs Joule, watch threads, bike threads, etc. just seems smarter and more powerful for all of that to have its own thread.
    And the members only was basically a joke. I meant it more EN members only, ie no coaches.
