CAN WE HAVE A GEAR FOLDER?

A response wold be nice.  Why not have one?  It's not a training question, it's not power and pace, it shouldn't be Club House.  What is the downside to have all this housed in one place?  We have a Womens forum for the love of god.

Angry Tucker, what the heck are you talking about? A folder for a forum where we can talk about equipment? There's training equipment (Training forums), racing equipment (racing forums), beer making equipment (club house forums) and women's saddles (women's forums)....just saying....

I just thought it would be helpful to have a dedicated place where only gear would be discussed. As you pointed out, there are many places where one could find a question or review about a piece of equipment. We are in the power meter buying time of year and you see questions everywhere about this stuff. Plus you have Richs group buy thread where he wants no one to comment and I get that.
People I've spoken to think its a good idea. Maybe it's not. But knowing how hard the search function is I thought it easier to house all gear stuff in one place. Because we sure love our gear.

I agree with Tucker... I'm pretty sure I have replied to Garmin device X vs Joule or PT vs Quarq in about 20 different threads in at least three different forums.

To me power and pace are for talking about power and pace training topics.... a gear review/questions forum would be the single place to go to for all swim/bike/run gear.
