I'd like to recommend/request that all of the OS Groups adopt the practice we used last year for identifying the OS group in the "Subject" of the threads posted within the groups.   This may seem a little strange at first, but it will help to avoid confusion (and frustration) as more OS groups are added.

Right now, if you select "Not Read" to see all the threads that have not been read, you get everything, including threads for OS Groups (and other groups) that you Do NOT belong to.  It becomes frustrating to click on that thread to read what is going on only to get blocked with a "sorry- you have to join the group to see this post" message.   The "Week 1" kind of threads are pretty obvious right now as Oct OS Group stuff, but even those will get confusing as more groups are added (was this the NOV Week 1 thread or the Oct Week 1 thread?)

So, to avoid the confusion, I'd like to ask the OS Groups to simply add "Oct OS" (or whatever your month is) to the beginning of each subject to identify it for everyone in the "not read" list.  For example:



Oct OS:  Week 1 Thread

Nov OS: Time for VO2's anyone else scared?

Jan OS:  Vdot Testing this week, time to report in!
