temperature control

I hear last year IM FL had air temps starting in the 40's.  I also hear there is a wide range of possible temps.  What does the haus recommend for keeping warm if the air temp isn't suitable for a bike start with a wet tritop and arm warmers only (or is there not such temp), and is there a reasonable way to shed excess "down the road?"   I admit I'm a Floridian not super accustomed to cold, although I raced the B2B in Wilmington last year same time of year.  I think I put on dry stuff in transition.  Thanks for your input.

  • I did a whole costume change in T1 last year. The first two hours of the bike ride were miserable because of the cold even with a long sleeve Under Armour shirt. I didn't feel my toesof for hours so bring toe warmers if you got them.
  • That should read toes. Can't seem to edit with the DROIDX.
