Nov OS- Join Body Composition Group!
I just want to put a plug in here for everyone to consider joining the Body Composition Group as well as the OS Weight Challenge. Maitaining/Improving your body comp during the OS is important and can be a pretty big challenge for some as the holidays approach and volume of workouts decrease. The Weekly Weigh-Ins are a good way to stay on top of your situation and we've been doing those for the past several years.
This year Gordon has also added a fun "OS Group Challenge" where the OS groups compete against each other to see who does the best job with Body Comp during the OS. Should be a fun way to stay focused and give us all a little motivation.
I almost always gain about 4-5 lbs in winter and then shed them again before my A race. But I'd really like to avoid that bounce this year if I can!

I'm in. Hopefully I can help out as it's been about 2 years since I've done any "real" training and I started about 20lbs over my 2009 racing weight. For whatever reason, the Paleo approach modified for athletes seems to work very well for me. I find that I end up losing weight pretty quickly and feel much better, even with most carbs coming from fruit and vegtables.

What if your goal is to eat and drink as much as possible between IMAZ and JOS start?
@ Nemo - Thanks for bringing the challenge to everyone's attenion. I have to admit l've been busy and not letting everyone in the NOS know about this.
I posted a link on the dashboard but here it is as well. There's also a discussion thread in the challenge forum, not really many rules. Weigh in and check back every 4 weeks or at least by week 20.

In. Stepped on the scale this morning and I'm up just shy of 20 lbs since LP. Time to stop eating
