Finally getting going here after some unstructured training after Austin 70.3. My last test was 9/28 outside and I hit 320 with both 20 minute intervals at 324 at an average HR of 164.
Today, indoors, I could only hit 301 and my HR was 175 by the end. I felt terrible after 5 minutes and knew I should just bail but I decided to stick it out. I thought I had come close to vomiting before during these tests, but today I was actually trying to decide where to aim; keep the bike clean, don't hit the computer, keep pedaling, wood floor looks like a good spot!
I'm doing the run test Friday then I will jump into week 3 with the crew on Monday.
@Chris - I had similar symptoms when I moved from outside to inside riding. Must be some serious re-adaptation needed to get back in the grove of riding on the trainer. I've been on the trainer for several weeks now, and while my indoor power is still lower than my outdoor power, it does not seem quite as torturous.
