DeSoto 400 Mile Bike Shorts
I know there are a bunch of diehard Desoto fans here. I ordered a pair of the 400 mile shorts in size medium. They arived and do not fit. I pulled them on and they felt great except the bottoms of the legs were seem-busting tight around my thighs, beyond normal compression sake. The upper portions fit fine. I am wondering if I order the large will the thighs fit and the uppers/pad area be too loose? I have always ridden in medium in other brands (mainly Peral Izumi) with no issues of fit. Are they generally cut to fit thin builds, typical triathlon clothing? How does the size normally compare to Pearl Izumi? Any adivice would be great.
Thanks,
Gene

fyi.
185 pounds. 6 foot 6 inches.
the LARGE tri bibs work for me.
I assume the bike bibs are similar sizing ???
So I stoped by DeSoto. They are local in San DIego. It turns out that the shorts do fit (they run true to size with pearl izumi). When first putting them on the poping I heard was a special stitch that the seamstress use, or so I was told. Maybee I just need to loose a few lbs. Its all good. I can't wait to ride them. BTW - the people at Desoto are great. First class triathlon buisness IMO.
